Porters is open today with the chair lift, platter and magic carpet lifts spinning.
All good things must come to an end — today will be our last day of the 2025 winter season.
After 85mm of rain over the last few days, we have lost access to the upper mountain, and with a similar storm forecast tomorrow, we have to call time on what has been one of our best seasons in many years.
Easy Street will be awesome this morning, so get up early and celebrate the end of winter with us!
Today is a dress up day - bust out your best retro gear, Hawaiian shirt, beach wear or whatever else you fancy, and come along and enjoy one more day on the mountain.
At 5:45am, we have mostly clear skies and light to moderate winds on the lower mountain. The temperature is currently 3 degrees. Winds are forecast to increase later this afternoon, and may affect lift operations towards the very end of the day – this morning will be the best of it.
Easy Street and the Platter area have been groomed wide, and will have some fun conditions with fresh snow today.
Season passes for 2026 are now on sale at super earlybird prices. Buy now and also use your pass to ski today on us.
Passes can be purchased with 10 easy monthly payments. On top of all that, we are stoked to introduce our new family pass – click on the “shop now” button up on the top right corner to find out more and purchase.
If you’re looking for a lesson, pop into our ticket office and book a spot with one of our instructors – we have options for all ages and abilities. Kids 10 and under ski for free at Porters.
The access road this morning is chain free. We recommend that all vehicles carry chains in winter.
Our shuttle service will be running return trips throughout the day, picking up at chain bay 2 (and the lodge on request) at 8:45am, 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am and 11:00am. Return shuttles will be available all afternoon.
Porters Lodge Restaurant and Bar, just 6km up our access road, will be open for coffee from 9am, and meals from 11am. Pop in for a bite to eat after your day on the mountain, the food will impress.
