Mōrena from Whakapapa, and happy Sunday!It's a fine start to the morning on the maunga, and we're looking forward to plenty of sunshine throughout the day.From 8:00am, our base area facilities will begin opening, ready to serve up some breakfast and get all your rental gear sorted for a great day on the mountain.From 9:00am, Happy Valley, Snowland, the Rangatira Express, and the Sky Waka Gondola are all scheduled to open.It is a windy morning, so the Valley T-Bar, Knoll Ridge T-Bar, and Delta Quad will begin the day on hold. We'll be keeping a close eye on conditions and provide updates if the wind improves.We're also watching the wind closely on the Sky Waka Gondola. Right now, conditions are within the range we need to operate, but we'll continue to monitor the wind throughout the day.Come join us for a sunny Sunday at Whakapapa and make the most of another day on the maunga.
