Kia ora koutou from a slightly soggy Whakapapa this morning. The rain is still here to start the day, but we're expecting conditions to improve as the morning goes on.With persistent rain over the last couple of days, our team has been working hard to prepare for today. To ensure everything is ready to go, Snowland will open a little later this morning, giving the team time to get the area prepared for a great day on the snow.Today we'll be opening the Sky Waka gondola from 10am, along with the Knoll Ridge Chalet at the top of the gondola. Snowland sessions will also begin from 10am. Down in the base area, the retail store and Lorenz's Bar & Cafe will open from 9:30am. We're looking forward to making the most of the day as conditions continue to improve.We look forward to welcoming you up the mountain today and making the most of everything Whakapapa has to offer.
