Snow comment:
Season Wrap Up – Friday 25 September
Unfortunately the warm weather, winds & rain we’ve experienced this week have reaped havoc on the little remaining snow we had and although there’s possibility of a few cm’s over the next few days it simply won’t be enough to replenish what we have lost. We are therefore making the tough decision to call the adventure over for 2020.
2020 has certainly thrown up some challenges along the way and although its probably been the shortest season in the last 20 + years at least we did get open briefly and boy did we have some fun looking back! We would like to thank all our members, passholders, loyal customers and our small team of staff for hanging in there and supporting Cheeseman this year.
It’s been a tough one in more ways than one but we’ve learnt heaps from the experience and will come back fighting fit & strong for winter 2021.
Although finances will be tight we have a few small goals to achieve over summer which include refurbishment of the Snowline Lodge kitchen, so we’ll be calling for a helping hand on this project in due course. Please keep an eye out on the social media / E-News / E-Chat for further details.
Don’t forget all 3 Lodges – Forest Lodge, Snowline Lodge & Daylodge, are available for hire over the summer months and make an excellent base for parties, weddings, conferences, family / friends gatherings, outdoor activities etc. Spread the word amongst family and friends – help us promote our small slice of summer paradise!
Here’s wishing everyone a safe and fun summer and once again thanks for all the support and kind words.
Kia pai tō hauora. Stay well.
