Touring
Route ChangeSki touring is permitted up the M1 between the hours of 6 and 8am. Please note you must be at the summit before 8am or you will be asked to turn around.As we move into spring and Sarah Sue begins to melt. Ski Touring will be permitted up the Lower Greengates run. Please stick to the side of the run and ensure you're always visible from those above you coming down the run.

Mōrena, Ata mārie, Good Morning from Coronet Peak!Thursdays have been good to us lately and this is no exception. We have had 25cms of fresh snow at the top of the mountain and 18cms at base. It's on a soft spring layer so will be quite forgiving. However, care should be taken as the snow is pretty heavy lower down as this cloud settles on it.It is starting to clear out to a clear fine day, with colder temperatures coming mid-morning so be sure to bring a few extra layers and both low and hi light lenses with you.As always, ski to the conditions, and remember to follow our snow responsibility code.Kia pai tō rā (Have a good day)
