What a season, nights, early mornings, entertainment and some great pow to finish as we extended by a week.

Coronet Peak is no longer patrolled and avalanche control work has ceased.
Coronet Peak is a DOC recreation reserve and should be treated as backcountry terrain.
We received a significant amount of snow on the top half of the mountain on 3/10/24, the snowpack has become saturated with warm temperatures and rain on 4/10/24 - There is currently a risk of large loose wet / wet slab avalanches occurring in steep terrain. Please treat Coronet Peak as backcountry terrain. This means paying attention to the avalanche advisory for Queenstown - Skiing with a buddy and carrying a Transceiver, Shovel and Probe.
