Snow comment:
We are OPEN! This could be the last calm, bluebird weekend day of August, don't miss out! There is nice, dry snow and good coverage in upper Broken River Basin. It get's thin above Palmer, and you'll have to watch for rocks, but the tussock skiing is all-time! Lots of people were out on Saturday skiing a few laps and enjoying beer and pizza on the famous Palmer Deck. It's a good time, come check it out.
PLEASE NOTE- the towline is narrow and thin. We cannot accomodate beginner nutcracker riders at this time. It is not fun for beginners to learn in these conditions. Please, experienced tow riders and advanced skiers/boarders only! Thank you- BR Staff
Access to the field is a 20 minute walk from the top of the tram to Palmer Lodge. The tram hours are 8:30 am to 10:30 am and 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
