Porters is open today with all lifts spinning.
It’s looking like have a great day of spring skiing ahead, with warm temperatures, soft snow and sunshine.
At 5:45am, we have clear skies and light winds in the base area, getting breezier on the mid to upper mountain. The temperature is currently a pleasant 7 degrees.
The forecast is for winds to increase later this afternoon, but these are not expected to impact lift operations.
We expect to open Bluff Face this morning, but with warming temperatures today, our patrol team may need to close some terrain later on – please pay attention to signage and do not duck ropes.
We have groomed McNulty’s, Stellar, Easy Street and the Platter area this morning, and with warm temperatures and sun, there will be fun spring conditions in soft snow today.
Season passes for 2026 are now on sale at super earlybird prices. Buy now and also use your pass to ski the remainder of the 2025 season on us.
Passes can be purchased with 10 easy monthly payments. On top of all that, we are stoked to introduce our new family pass – click on the “shop now” button up on the top right corner to find out more and purchase.
If you’re looking for a lesson, pop into our ticket office and book a spot with one of our instructors – we have options for all ages and abilities. Kids 10 and under ski for free at Porters.
The access road this morning is chain free. We recommend that all vehicles carry chains in winter.
Our shuttle service will be running return trips throughout the day, picking up at Chain Bay 2 (and the lodge on request) at 9:30am and 10:30am. Return shuttles will be available all afternoon.
Porters Lodge Restaurant and Bar, just 6km up our access road, will be open for coffee from 9am, and meals from 11am. Pop in for a bite to eat after your day on the mountain, the food will impress.
