Yep, it’s full of Pow, and for good reason, they get lots of it. We’ve been there for the past two years, and actually, back again next year. There’s one problem, it’s getting busier, and literally half of the lodges are now owned by Aussies.
But get over that, and you have some awesome terrain, and some of the best tree skiing in Japan!
If you're less into powder and more into groomers, the Madarao does also have lots to offer. So this can be a perfect holiday, kids on groomers, Mum and Dad in the Pow, meet at the bottom. Or the other way around?!
