A real mountain experience! Great for couples. 4 cabins with wood fired hot tubs and luxury queen size beds a couch and fire overlooking the Waiau basin on Lake Stella. Self catering and right at the heart of the Mt Lyford Adventure Park and Closest accommodation to the Ski Area.
Ice Skating also available when conditions are right. Snow Shoe Hire for the Stella Basin Trail for Ski/ Board Hiking and tree skiing!

A good day on the mountain. Clear with light to moderate westerlies.
Snow will be silky once it softens and all main trails groomed.
Lifts open today are the Learners, Paradise Platters & Cloudy T-Bar. The Ropes now need a little more snow which looks like it comes on Sunday.
We are keeping an eye on some snow coming in Sunday so all you nut crackers out there get ready for the Stella Basin Rope our storm and wind tow to be up and running on Sunday if all allows.
SKI FOR A CURE. Today also we have our Simpson boys Ollie and Jono with their College mates skiing the equivalent of Mt Everest, for a cause close to their hearts. Every turn on Mt Lyford is a tribute to their father's legacy and a step towards helping others with the New Zealand Cancer Society.
