DEC 25 XMAS DAY
Further new openings including Wild Thing, Yeti and Turnpike 1 from summit, Fritz and Whiskey Jack on Sunbird, and Trappers Ridge, Trappers Lynx, and Canadian Discovery Trail down low. Caution on the low road section of the latter as it is narrow and bumpy with some exposed creek areas.

Thanks to a bump up from my red coated colleagues, I hit Wild Thing with fresh legs for some as advertised heli-ski type turns!! Loads of snow in the gully section below Evasion traverse which will pack in beautifully with traffic. The creek section exit is a long up and down winding single track, so requires some self propulsion at times. A late lap through Heli High to Heli Face surprised with the amount of deep fresh turns still easily found! Bumps are getting quite large and pronounced on the upper section of View of 1000 Peaks to the Stumbock's split.

Panorama Nordic Centre at Greywolf have all nordic trails open and regularly groomed. Selected multi-use trails are open, with more coming soon. Check the website or in person for more information.
