Another great day ahead! Excellent conditions through Sun Bowl yesterday, both on packed groom and playing in chopped powder. Corduroy laid through a central left path there today. View/Messerli's/McIntosh/Bells is a top to bottom prepared path, with upper Downhill and Whiskey Jack also featuring on the grooming list. Lovely powdered bumps through Trigger. Sidewinder was good in the top section and even better on the lower pitch. Zone is living up to it's dreamy name, with good fresh turns aplenty. Syndicate Turn & Burn Banked Slalom runs today, with a fun vibe for the local snowboard community. Check out details on the Special Events webpage.

Taynton Bowl has been awesome the last couple of days; as good as we've seen all season, rivalling wicked December days! Really nice consistency of supportive yet still light, blower pow. Plenty of fresh turns again Friday, even last run through Heli High! Monster X was very popular and likely will be again today. Superb floaty freshies through Get Out! were ripe for a charge!! The team have run a groom up into Landing Strip for tired legs to ski out.

Nordic trails are back to prime new years form, skiing very well in general. Get it while it's cold! Multi-use trails are being groomed throughout ahead of the weekend after all the new snow. They're still a bit soft, so foot traffic is not recommended, but snowshoers are positively encouraged to spread the load! Check the website or in person for more information and to purchase passes.

WSW winds are light to mild on the upper mountain, and mostly calm on lower slopes. Summit temperatures staying reasonably steady today below -10C, with Village high between 0 to -5C.
