Snow comment:

MAR 26
A bit of new snow top to bottom overnight bringing summit totals up over 20CM in the past 48hrs! It's caused a revival of some terrain, with Schober's to Sun Bowl runs rating very well yesterday - Lusti hit it up about half a dozen times! Dream Zone terrain reopened, with Zone 2 to Latte getting the nod for great powder turns, and some nice sluffy snow through Trigger. Summit frontside was a bit inconsistent with wind effect giving deep and shallow powder turns in equal measure. Find fresh on groom on early shift runs for creamy turns first up today, with soft corduroy on the latter groomed runs.

Several days of cooler weather and a good dose of new snow allowed terrain openings around to Never Never Land yesterday! Skiing in the bowl was pretty consistent overall, with good, light, faceshot powder atop the firm base beneath. Landing Strip and Taynton Trail rode quite nicely on the skiout, with just a few melt/freeze patches beginning as you near the exit below Founders. Booming bombing runs set off some significant slides in Monster terrain, so thanks to the crew for the assessment and control work. RESPECT ALL CLOSURES FOR THE SAFETY OF YOURSELF AND OTHERS!

Nordic trails and Multi-use trails are running firm and slick in general. Light AM grooming is in effect. No beginner terrain available - commence ski from Greywolf road bridge. Hale Hut and Hale trail are closed. Fat biking - studs recommended and AM better due to rapid softening generally in the PM. Snowshoeing a preferred option. Check the website or in person for more information and to purchase passes. Some discounted ticketing available.

Today’s outlook:

MAR 26
Some snow overnight, clearing early to a day of sun and cloud. WSW winds are light to mild at summit, and calm to light on the lower mountain. Temperatures are down about 5 degrees across the board from yesterday morning, and should follow that trend through the day. While village temperatures rise positive this afternoon, top of Mile One is forecast to stay below zero, with the freezing level around Discovery unload elevation.
