We are OPEN!
At 6am we have clear skies overhead, light winds in the base area and strong southerlies at the summit averaging 70km/h. The wind is forecast to ease significantly through the morning.
Approximately 10cm of heavily wind-affected snow received Monday night and through Tuesday has been distributed and packed down by the groomers adding 3-5cm of powdery new snow on the main trails.
Off-piste will be highly variable with powder pockets in the hollows but mostly firmer, pre-storm snow in exposed areas. Please check signage at the summit unload for the status of off-piste zones and our parks and respect all closures.
Drive safely - we look forward to seeing you here soon!

Snow comment:
Our de-ice crew successfully got the Summit 6 and Nor'west Express lifts de-iced and spinning by close of play yesterday so these are expected to open more-or-less on time today. The Triple chair still requires de-icing so could be delayed - estimated opening time is currently 10am. We will provide further updates from 9am with revised estimated opening times.
